The Nonprofit Governance Architect Podcast
The governance problems nobody puts on the agenda.
Most boards and leaders already sense when something is off. A decision keeps getting revisited. Someone holds more authority than their title says. An Executive Director is carrying too much with no one to think out loud with. These are the situations we talk about here.
Each episode takes one pattern I see in nonprofit governance and looks at what’s usually underneath it: trust, power, identity, and relationships. I don’t offer a checklist. I try to name what’s happening and ask better questions.
Who it’s for
Nonprofit CEOs, Executive Directors, board chairs, board members, and founders who want a plain-language look at the situations that don’t fit neatly in the bylaws.
What you’ll hear about
Founder transitions and legacy. Unclear decision rights. Board and staff dynamics. Leadership isolation. The conversations leaders keep putting off.
